Country Homes for Wounded

COUNTRY HOMES FOR WOUNDED.

TO THE EDITOR OF THE ARGUS

Sir,- I saw a letter in "The Argus" froma farmer's wife offering a home welcome to convalescent or wounded soldiers returning from the war who have not homes to go to.

I think the idea an excellent one, andwould be glad to take three at a time tillthey were well enough to resume duties. We in the country find it hard to keep intouch with active workers, but there aremany like myself wishful to help who wouldbe glad to made use of as hostesses if some way of arranging could be managed -

I am . B. AUSTIN
